Recently, the provincial government officially approved the construction of the second batch of four provincial technology innovation centers. Zhejiang Aircraft Composite Technology Innovation Center led by Group Company and Huarui Company and Zhejiang Laser Intelligent Equipment Technology Innovation Center participated by Institute of Mechanical& Electrical were successfully selected. Among them, Provincial Aircraft Composite Technology Innovation Center is the first provincial technology innovation center led by provincial enterprises.

Zhejiang Aircraft Composite Technology Innovation Center

Zhejiang Aircraft Composite Technology Innovation Center, led by the Group Company and Huarui Aerospace Manufacturing Co., Ltd., was established with Hangzhou Aimei Aviation Manufacturing Equipment Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Tuanyuan Composite Material Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Institute of Mechanical& Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd. as the core co-construction units. The Innovation Center cooperates with China Commercial Aircraft Composite Center, Zhejiang University and other domestic and foreign leading entities in the field of composite materials, focusing on key technologies such as raw materials of high-performance carbon fiber composite materials, manufacturing and assembly technology of large-size composite components and special equipment for large-size composite products, with the main goal of building a domestic leading international first-class high-performance aircraft composite technology innovation center, which is of great significance for improving the manufacturing capacity of large aircraft in the province and building an advanced manufacturing base.

Guided by Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the Innovation Center will focus on three major directions: raw materials of high-performance carbon fiber composite materials, manufacturing and assembly technology of large-size composite components and special equipment for large-size composite products according to the spirit of the 14th Five-Year Plan for the development of high-end equipment manufacturing industry in Zhejiang Province and the 14th Five-Year Plan for the development of aerospace industry in Zhejiang Province. Combining with the market demand, the Innovation Center closely connects industries and enterprises, and establishes an innovative development and system integration team with first-class technical level, international vision and rich engineering experience. At the same time, the Innovation Center accelerates the process of technological innovation and incubation, consolidates the accumulation of aviation manufacturing technology, innovates and develops high-end equipment for automatic manufacturing of large aircraft, and continuously provides engineering technical achievements for the development of large aircraft in China. The Innovation Center will lead the industry’s continuous innovation and technological progress, and then comprehensively enhances the independent innovation capability of China’s aviation, attracts the leading industries of large aircraft manufacturing to settle in Zhejiang, incubates the upstream and downstream industries of large aircraft manufacturing, and forms a brand-new industrial chain of large aircraft manufacturing in Zhejiang Province.

Zhejiang Laser Intelligent Equipment Technology Innovation Center

Zhejiang Laser Intelligent Equipment Technology Innovation Center, led by Penta Laser (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., is jointly established by Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhejiang Institute of Mechanical& Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd., Zhejiang University of Technology, Wenzhou University and other units. According to the three research directions of high-power laser intelligent manufacturing system, laser precision manufacturing complete sets of equipment, high-performance lasers and photoelectric devices, the Innovation Center has carried out key technical research, focusing on improving the manufacturing capacity of key components in key areas of “415X” advanced manufacturing clusters in provinces such as robots andnumerically-controlled machine tool, high-end new materials, integrated circuits, automobiles and parts. The Innovation Center has focused on tackling the common technical problems at the forefront of the industry, such as precision cutting and welding of large and thick plates in ships and nuclear power equipment, welding of non-ferrous materials in new energy vehicles, coating removal of composite materials for aerospace vehicles and surface strengthening of heavy parts, precision etching of integrated circuits and elimination of defects in semiconductor materials, providing independent and controllable technical and equipment support for major industrial needs in China and the province.

 

The Zhejiang Laser Intelligent Equipment Technology Innovation Center aims to build a world-advanced platform for research and development of key core technologies of laser intelligent equipment and transformation of achievements. The Center plans to invest more than RMB 2.5 billion in five years. It is estimated that by 2026, it will break through six landmark achievements, such as 50-100 kW ultra-high power laser processing intelligent machine tool multi-quality characteristic collaborative control technology, attract more than 800 high-level innovative talents, and drive industrial growth of RMB 40 billion.

As one of the co-construction units of the Center, the Institute of Mechanical& Electrical will conduct in-depth research on common key technologies based on the research direction of “ultra-high-speed laser additive manufacturing”, “laser-visual fusion 3D measurement” and “laser and photoelectric device detection” in the research of laser intelligent equipment technology, so as to make all-round contributions to the promotion of laser intelligent equipment industry in the province.

In 2022, the Group adhered to the general strategy of “science and technology mechanery and electrical”, focused on enhancing the core competitiveness of enterprises, continuously increased investment in innovation, and made new breakthroughs in building a high-energy innovation platform. In the whole year, the Group added two national innovation platforms, among which Yunda Company was awarded the “National Enterprise Technology Center” and Institute of Mechanical & Electrical was awarded the service-oriented manufacturing demonstration platform of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; The Group led and participated in the establishment of one provincial technological innovation center; The Group has added 2 provincial engineering research centers and 3 provincial high-tech enterprise R&D centers.
